The area surrounding the town of Coyhaique is “Heaven on Earth” to almost any angler.
The sheer number of options where one can spend a day of fishing can be overwhelming.
Fly fishing is our passion and getting to share our love of the region with our guests is what makes our jobs truly special. Our mission is to provide each client with an unforgettable experience fishing while enjoying one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
Coyhaique Program:
This flexibility to fish such a wide variety of water is the reason we base our operation out of Coyhaique. We strive to provide our clients with the opportunity to fish the best water available for the conditions on any given day. We will not fish our clients on water that is not prime, just because it is conveniently close to our lodge. We fish the best water, at the best time. Period.
Each day our guides will build a schedule to match our clients to the best fishing for their ability and interests. We will work closely with you to determine your fishing preference. Whether you enjoy wade fishing, float fishing on a river or lake fishing we will make sure that you and your group get to experience the best of Chilean Patagonia.
“ We have secure private access points on many of the best rivers, lake, and creeks of the region. Our guides know these waters better than anyone. ”

You could spend an entire season with us in Coyhaique and never see the same water twice! We are confident you will want to come back just to see what you missed. There is simply too much water to experience it just one trip!
Typically, our guests go directly to the Patagonia House or Nomades Hotel to get settled. If you would like to start fishing right away, we can arrange for your day to begin shortly after your arrival to the Balmaceda airport. Our base program is from Saturday to Saturday, but this can be set depending on your travel schedule.
Since the last season we are offering a new itinerary as an option for Classic Coyhaique Program. This program combines 3 nights in Coyhaique town and 4 nights at Cascadas park (please see lodging) located along the banks of the Simpson River. We are excited to offer this new itinerary. The main goal of this program is to be closer to the lower areas of the main rivers we fish. We will cut driving time to 45 minutes or less from the park or float our nearby home waters.
We will provide a full packing list upon booking.
